Gov. Ganduje closes down supermarket for rejecting old naira notes

The Consumer Protection Council of Kano State on Sunday, closed down a popular supermarket, Wellcare, over refusal to accept old Naira notes.

The Acting chairman of the council, Baffa Babba Danagundi, said the supermarket was closed down following a directive from the Governor of the State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Gunmen attack, shoot PDP chairman

Charles Oke, a chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the Ogbaku ward in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, was on Saturday shot by some gunmen.

A filing station simply identified as MM filing station, located at Alagbado, Ilorin, Kwara State has been gutted by fire in the midnight of Saturday.

The Informant247 gathered that the fire outbreak, which started around 10pm, burnt down the station tanker and the house close to the filing station, destroying goods worth millions of naira.
