The Police in Edo State has arrested two female students of Adesuwa Secondary School, Benin, for allegedly assaulting a teacher. The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Friday in Benin City. A seven-year-old girl was reportedly murdered by a suspected ritualist in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State on Thursday. An Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court, on Wednesday, sentenced one Adewale Ibitoye to life imprisonment for having sexual intercourse with his 14-year-old daughter. Following the discovery of the corpse of a teenage girl in a hotel wardrobe, the coastal town of Twon Brass in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was thrown into confusion on Monday.
