…speaks on Senatorial ambition
A Kwara entertainment magazine Elites Vibez, for its April 2021 edition, has featured a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Amb. AbdulFatai Yahaya Seriki on its cover page.
Titled, ‘A young man’s rise from nothing to something’, the cover shows Seriki’s picture shown in silhouette.
The Elites Vibez magazine is meant to showcases the stories of outstanding individuals in different spheres of society, how their minds work and how they go to where they are. It is a branch of Eva Awards which is focused on celebrating outstanding individuals. The magazine goes further by informing the people about the story of some individuals who had impacted in many people’s lives.
Seriki’s interview titled ‘Stone To Gold, Starting from nothing to something makes my story’, speaks on his journey in the business world, his charity foundation and his political career.
Speaking on his foundation, Seriki said, “You see in life, I believe it’s only God that gives and it is only him that take no matter where you are or what you are, we all ought to give back to the society that brought us on board and the only way we can give back to the society is by empowering the less privileged ones, by sponsoring those who are ready to go to school, and by changing people’s orientation that they don’t need to sit at home and be expecting greener pastures. It is best for them to go out, struggle and hustle. Because I am also a hustler.”
On politics, he said, “I plan to open more industries in my state, by the special grace of GOD. Like what the Governor is doing, I plan to change the narrative of our humble state from being a civil servant state to an industrialized state.
Hailing Gov AbdulRazaq, he said, “All I am doing now it’s to support our dear governor. The man that did not see himself as a governor, the man that does not believe somebody is bigger than another, the man that believes state money belongs to the state rather than some sets of individuals. Thank God I am not in any political office before they will think it’s because I am an apolitical officeholder that’s why I am helping the governor. It’s only those that do not want Kwara to grow that will not support the agenda of the Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.”
Seriki added that he plans to open more industries in Kwara State and change the state’s narrative from being a civil servant state to an industrialized state.
