A Non-Governmental Organization, Zero Tolerance for Social Immoralities Initiative, ZETSI Africa in partnership with KAB Foundation is set to hold a leadership training programme and induction ceremony for its new volunteers in Kwara State.
Speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, the Kwara state Capital, the ZETSI Africa President, Ambassador Razak Jeje said that the new volunteers will drive the programmes and objectives of the organization in different parts of the state.
Jeje said the leadership training programme is in partnership with KAB Foundation, an initiative of Engineer Kehinde Alex Bankole.
He said, “Mr Bankole’s love and passion for youth and community development informed his decision to partner ZETSI Africa in staging the leadership training and induction ceremony, which will take place at Kwara Hotels, Ilorin, with the theme; Volunteerism for The Advancement of Humanity and Community Development.”
He added, “the programme will also feature launching of book, paper presentations from professionals, talks on entrepreneurship, interactive sessions and presentation of awards and certificates.
“The director, community development unit Kwara State University, Malete, Lawal Olohungbe is the guest speaker of the day, while the Kwara State commissioner for police, Kayode Egbetokun will deliver a keynote address. A former Speaker of Kwara Assembly, Hon. Ali Ahmad will serve as Chairman of the occasion.
