2023: Peter Obi’s presidency threatened as LP faction picks another Presidential Candidate
The Labour Party, LP took another dimension, on Tuesday as its acting national chairman, Calistus Uju Okafor announced ambassador Jude Ezenwafor as the Presidential candidate for the party ahead of 2023 Presidential election.
Okafor who announced Okafor as the candidate to fly the flag of the party next year at the Excel Hotel and Resort, Garki 2, Abuja, described the candidate as “a man of integrity.”
2023 Presidency: Tinubu coming at right time – Segun Oni
The Social Democratic Party, SDP governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni, congratulated the newly elected presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
The Informant247 had reported that Tinubu scored 1,271 votes to defeat his closest contenders, Rotimi Amaechi and Yemi Osinbajo.
In a statement by the Chairman, Media Advisory Council, Segun Oni Campaign Organisation, Moses Jolayemi, Oni described Tinubu as “a detribalised leader and an astute politician of a formidable political trajectory”.
Women perform rituals, place curses on attackers of Ondo Church
Women in Owo town, on Wednesday, protested following the killing of worshippers by gunmen at Saint Francis Catholic Church last Sunday in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The women in their numbers who trooped for the protest also placed curses on the gunmen who carried out the attacks.
PDP govs, Atiku in closed door meeting after Tinubu’s victory

Abdulkadir Nasiru, 20, a construction worker, has died, while Naziru Shafiu, his co-worker sustained injuries, following the collapse of a three-storey building in Kanti Kwari textile market in Kano State, yesterday.
It was reported that two of the three floors of the building have been done, while the third one was in progress when it collapsed around 12:35 pm.

France-based Nigerian leads cyberattacks on 10 banks in Lagos
The Police Special Fraud Unit in Lagos State, on Wednesday, said it arrested three suspects for allegedly attempting cyberattacks on 10 banks in the state.
The spokesperson for the unit, SP Eyitayo Johnson, in a statement, said the Commissioner of Police, PSFU, Nneka Anyasinti, while acting on intelligence received from a leading new generation bank, on March 30, 2022, arrested the suspects.
Court remands 30-year-old man for allegedly attempting to kill father, wife in Kwara
A 30-year-old farmer, Alli Hassan, was Wednesday remanded by a Magistrate’s Court in Ilorin for allegedly threatening to kill his biological father, Hassan Auta.
The Kwara State Police Command arraigned the suspect after he allegedly threatened to kill his father, one Hassan Auta with cutlass in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
