Arsenal’s hope of winning the EPL has again been subjected to a huge blow after losing to Manchester City on Wednesday night. 

Manchester City showed dominance all through the game to secure a 4-1 victory to the delight of many at the Etihad.

Kevin De Bruyne’s brace, John Stone’s efforts and Erling Haaland’s late strike were all the Citizens needed to show the stuffs they are made off against hapless Gunners.

While Bob Holding seemed to have reduced the tally for Arsenal, the Mike Arteta’s side were left helpless in the face of a wrecking City who dictated the pace of the game from the blast of the whistle to the end.

The result reduced the point difference between Pep Guardiola’s and the Gunners to two points with two games in hand for the Citizens to clear.

For Arsenal, it was the climax of their apparent poor form which has seen them drawn their last three games.

The overall analysis suggests that Arsenal might be losing their grip on the top spot on the league table while citizens may creep into the top as they continue to chase a treble.
