Governor of Rivers State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Nyesom Wike, has declared that it is time for the party to reward everything he’s done for the party.
He sought to be rewarded by being made the flagbearer of the party for the 2023 presidential election.
The Governor made this revelation yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, while communicating the delegates of the party in the state ahead of the party’s presidential primary election.
He said his contribution in making the party stable at the time of crisis gave him an edge over other presidential aspirants of the party.
“Nobody has done for the party as I did in the recent past. I rescued the party while it was on the brink of collapsing. It is, therefore, a time for paying back,” he said.
He however made the vow to restructure the country if elected president.
