Ilorin Emirate students endorse Magaji for Ilorin West/Asa reps seat

The Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union (IESU) has thrown its weight behind Hon. Abdulfatai Soliu Magaji in his bid to represent Ilorin West and Asa Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.

The endorsement was announced by the National President of the union, Sheikh Abdulrahman Zulukarnain Al-Opolowy, who described Magaji as a dependable and forward-looking leader with a track record of supporting students and youth development within the Ilorin Emirate.

In a statement issued through his media aide, Abdulrouph Abdullahi Ishola, the IESU president said Magaji has consistently demonstrated commitment to the growth of the union and has remained actively engaged with its activities at the national level.

“Hon. Abdulfatai Soliu Magaji has shown unwavering commitment to the struggle and welfare of students,” the IESU president said, stressing that such dedication reflects his passion for grassroots development.

He further stated that Magaji’s involvement in youth-focused initiatives and his understanding of the needs of young people make him a credible choice for the constituency.

According to him, “his qualities of trust, vision, and genuine passion for service are essential for effective representation.”

Al-Opolowy also expressed confidence in the aspirant’s ability to deliver if elected, saying the endorsement was based on “his track record, integrity, and continued support for student and youth initiatives.”

The IESU president urged constituents, particularly young people, to rally behind credible leadership.

He said supporting candidates with a clear commitment to development and unity would ensure sustainable progress in the constituency.
