The Coalition of Saliu Mustapha Youth Wing, on Sunday, held a special prayer for Mall. Saliu Mustapha to emerge as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mustapha, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), is one of the party chieftains seeking the chairmanship office.
The prayer was held at Saliu Mustapha’s family home in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital city.
The group’s coordinator, Badmus Olayinka, speaking with newsmen after the prayer session, described Mustapha as a philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the growth of Kwara State.
He said, “The Coalition of Saliu Mustapha Youth Wing is a group with branches all over the 16 local government area of Kwara State. We have been giving out scholarships to the youths and giving humanitarian supports to the needy to complement the effort of Mallam Salihu Mustapha.
“The Prayer we held today is for him to emerge as the national chairman of our party. Indeed, he is super capable for the position and we are confident he is going to move the party to a greater height.”
The group prayed to God to grant the APC’s chairmanship ambition of the politician.
