Yahaya Seriki begins disbursement of N1bn empowerment funds, beneficiaries receive alerts

Beneficiaries of the N1 billion empowerment programme organised by the Yahaya Seriki Foundation have started receiving payments, with some already getting bank alerts of N100,000 each.

The disbursement follows an announcement by the Chairman of Kursi Investment Limited, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, that beneficiaries would begin receiving their funds from Monday, November 2, 2026.

Yahaya Seriki made the announcement on Saturday, October 31, during the Yahaya Seriki Empowerment and Enterprise Colloquium held in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Checks by The Informant247 indicate that the payments have commenced, with beneficiaries receiving alerts of N100,000 as part of the financial intervention.

The N1 billion empowerment fund is part of a broader initiative unveiled by the foundation, which also featured the distribution of 150 exotic vehicles and other empowerment items.

The programme is aimed at providing financial assistance, supporting enterprise development and improving the economic conditions of beneficiaries.
