Kwara North’s Zakari Mohammed clinches ADC governorship ticket

Former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Zakari Mohammed, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kwara State.

Zakari, who hails from Kwara North, was declared winner after polling the highest number of votes in the party’s primary election conducted across the state on Friday.

The collation of results was held on Saturday at the ADC state secretariat in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, under the supervision of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to reports by Just Event Online, the exercise was monitored by party stakeholders and electoral officials.
