The secondary school classmates of Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the APC Kwara Central senatorial candidate, have reacted to opinion making round on social media regarding the educational status of Mustapha.
This was a contained in a text made available to The Informant247 by Abdulfatai Abdulrahim reportedly written on behalf of all Ex Commandos Kwara Chapter.
The statement stated that those making unverifiable and unsubstantiated claims about Mustapha cannot give what they lack.
It described the Green Chamber candidate as a person with great ability to lead and someone who has proved himself to be a reliable, and philanthropist right from school.
The statement reads: “The writer can not give out what he/ she lacks and that is the extent his or her IQ can endure.”
“Going back to the crux of the matter Musty as Salihu Mustapha was popularly known at our Alma Mata COMMAND SEC. SCH. KADUNA is someone with high esteem, he has that leadership skill and capacity to lead. He is smart and humane which I guess triggered his interest in philanthropy.”
“He has always been a pillar of support to family and friends dating back to his school days.”
“Being a COMMANDO requires a lot of discipline, honesty and frankness in expressing personal opinions. These are qualities that shaped their personality of Turaki.”
“I guess the sponsors of the write-up are jittery about the phenomenon of the man Salihu Mustapha.”

The former secondary school course mates however noted that the statement was not a rejoinder to any unscientific opinion earlier made against the House of Representatives candidate, but a way of setting record straight.
“This is not a response to any write-up. We’re just setting the record straight.”
