Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has announced the completion of his Business and Management course at De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom.

The Leicester talisman had earlier in 2019 announced his enrollment in the institution saying he intended to use his free time for studying.

“Yes (I enjoyed it). I’m done. I did like a 10-class course which can enrol me into a proper university degree,” he said in an interview with Football Daily.

“It’s just to enlighten me about business and entrepreneurship and tourism also.”

Ndidi told Sportsmail in 2019 that, “I have free time, so instead of sitting and playing FIFA, it’s good to grasp the four walls of schooling”.

His decision could also be likened to that of former Nigerian International, Seyi Olofinjana who got a Master’s degree at Aberdeen University while playing for the English Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Seyi had earlier during his days with Crown FC of Ogbomoso and Kwara United of Ilorin secured his first degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso.
