Several reports claimed that the former Tottenham Manager has held at least two rounds of talks with the blues hierachcy this week.
Other frontrunners for the job are Luis Enrique , Vincent Kompany and Julian Nagelsmann who had reportedly dropped out of the running.
Frank Lampard was appointed as Chelsea’s interim manager until the summer, but Todd Boehly is expected to appoint a permanent boss ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Pochettino, who last managed PSG could be set for a return to the Premier League.
