A lawyer, Adamson Adeboro, has lamented the teaching of law in unqualified Nigerian universities.
The legal practitioner also condemned practices that are not ethical exhibited by some colleagues in the learned profession.
He informed newsmen that the government should focus more its attention on law departments.
Adeboro revealed lamented that some universities where law programmes are offered are not qualified to do so.
He said it was not fair allow the teaching of law in Universities of Technology or institutions where distant learning occurs.
Adeboro also revealed that such schools cannot make provision for thorough legal training, a situation that leads to low quality of advocates.
“My take is that the lawyers are not enough but we have to look at the quality of lawyers being presented to the society.
“Nigeria is under-served in terms of legal representation”, the Abuja-based counsel added.
