An Ilorin based Philanthropist and Youth Ambassador to United States, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki has reiterated his resolve and Commitment to Support AIMS NGO to Organise a befitting Inaugural edition of Paralympics Sporting event in Ilorin, the State Capital.
Ambassador Seriki Stated this today While Members of the NGO paid him a Courtesy Visit in his Office .
Ambassador Seriki Maintained that Sport is a Unifying factor and a tool for national and International Integration, hence the need for Corporates and Individuals to Support it Whole heatedly
He Charged the Organizers to Stage an acceptable Sporting event that will for Long be remembered by the participants and other Stakeholders in order to reflect it’s Aims and Objectives ,noting, that the Organizers Should avoid any act capable of deviating from the Original Concept and goals of the Programme and remain focus to achieve it’s desire Objectives.
Presenting the Proposal of the Programme to the Ambassador Seriki, the Secretary of the NGO, Adepoju oluwasun Pledged to Organise the programme in accordance with its Mission and Vision to achieve the target goals and objectives.
Oluwaseun Commended Ambassador Seriki For his Support and encouragement,adding that the NGO is pleased with his gesture and full of appreciation for his Unflinching Support for all his youth Oriented Programmes.
The Coordinator of the Group, Coach Kehinde Aiyelabegan said the programme was conceived out of the passion and desire they have for the physically challenged People, stressing that the programme will be organised to achieve it’s Objectives.
Meanwhile, the Proposed Sporting event and Programme will feature Para Table tennis, Para Weightlifting ,Para Chair tennis, Para Basketball and Para Soccer and holds between March 29th/30th,2018 @ Kwara State Stadium complex, Ilorin.
