In a heartfelt tribute, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly and Turaki of Ilorin, expressed deep admiration for the late retired Permanent Secretary in Kwara State, Alhaji Shuaib Tunde Aremu.
Mallam Mustapha, known for his dedication to his community, highlighted the remarkable contributions of Aremu to the Iponrin community in the Ilorin East Local Government Area.
Reflecting on Aremu’s life, Senator Mustapha said, “We remember Alhaji Shuaib Babatunde Aremu not only as a dedicated public servant but as a pillar of support for many. His legacy extends beyond his family to touch the lives of the entire Iponrin Ward and Ilorin East Local Government Area.”
According the Senator, the late permanent secretary’s tenure was marked by exemplary character and unwavering integrity stating that his tireless efforts were instrumental in the growth and development of Iponrin Ward, leaving an indelible mark on the community.
Mustapha added, “Alhaji Aremu was not only a respected public servant but a loving and devoted family man. He left behind legacies of love, kindness, and compassion that will forever be remembered.”
Senator Mustapha extended his condolences to Aremu’s family, friends, and colleagues at Radio Kwara, where the deceased served as the Corporation Secretary.
He also commiserated with the Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries in the state, led by Prince Ayo Fagbemi, and the Adualere community of Ilorin East Local Government Area.
Mustapha’s prayers echoed the sentiments of many, seeking forgiveness for Aremu’s inadequacies and praying for his place in aljanat firdaus.
