The Senatorial Candidate for Kwara Central on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Saliu Mustapha has said he would ease sustainable development, empowerment schemes and give support to traders, when he emerges winner of the forthcoming election scheduled for February 25, 2023.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha made this revelation on Wednesday while speaking to supporters and loyalists of his party, APC at Magaji Ngeri ward in Ilorin West local government area.
He cherished the unquantifiable contribution of the women in home and nation building.
He said women would be beneficiaries of his legislative contributions and empowerment schemes — all for the improvement of their welfare and wellbeing.
He, therefore, implored them to cast their votes for and massively back all candidates contesting on the platform ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The Turaki of Ilorin said the Governor of the state, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq has performed excellently by empowering women and ensuring that they’re well carried along in governance and politics.
He said: ”We have 4 women as House of Assembly candidates in the Kwara Central Senatorial district. We will continue to provide support for women, youth, the aged and other strata of society, when elected as Senator.”
