Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards has criticized Manchester United winger, Antony’s performance after the team was handed a 7-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
Richards noted that the Brazilian worked off the ball and claimed that he ‘wasn’t doing his work’ down the right wing.
Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Richards said: “There was no communication between (Diogo) Dalot and Antony, it was like playing with 10 men because Antony wasn’t doing his work down that side.
“We all know how good (Andy) Robertson and Trent (Alexander-Arnold) are in full-back positions so you would think Antony would try and get closer to Robertson” he said.
Antony was signed for £85.5m last summer relatively offered little protection for right-back Diogo Dalot against the threat of Andrew Robertson.
