Dinorah Santa Ana, the ex- wife of Barcelona Defender, Dani Alvez has paid him a visit in the catalan jail
Santa is the mother of his children and is reportedly managing some of his properties.
Alves is still being held in prison over alleged rape of 23-year-old woman on December 30, 2022, in a well-known nightclub in Barcelona.
“He’s fine, staying strong and holding up well,” his ex-wife told El Periodico.
“I wanted to visit to talk about the children and their education.
“It’s a complicated situation for them.
“We must remember that Dani Alves has a family and not everything that is said is true.
“This is something that weighs heavily on the children’s lives.
“I am a mother and, when the children suffer, the mother suffers too.”
Ana further explained that she thinks her ex-husband is innocent and their conversation inside the prison hasn’t changed her view.
“I didn’t ask him about the various versions out there because we know that he is innocent,” she added.
“There are no questions about this. Both his children and I believe in his innocence.
“He will be proven innocent and everything will be fine, I’m sure.
