‘Quit notice’: Sunday Igboho, supporters storm Igangan

Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, on Friday, stormed Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.

It was gathered that Igboho came to the town and was received by hundreds of youths at the Igangan Town Hall.

He vowed that Fulani herdsmen will be chased away from the town and entire Yorubaland for inciting insecurity and banditry.

He said, “What is happening will not be limited to this place, we will drive out Fulani from entire Yorubaland. They want to be killing us. We will not accept this.”

He insisted that Seriki, the head of the Fulani, must leave the town because he has been identified as a security threat.

It was earlier reported that there was palpable tension in the community on Friday morning as the quit notice given to herdsmen in the area expires today.
