The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State, Mr. Kolo Yusuf, has visited the Commander, 1 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier CA Baushe.
This meeting was to improve the existing working relationship with all security stakeholders and sister agencies in the state.
The commissioner, while making his remark, appreciated the Brigade Commander for the warm reception and hospitality.
He further revealed that he was at the 1 Brigade to foster familiarity between himself, the Brigade Commander and other senior officers.
He appealed for the improvement of the relationship between the two forces, so as to sustain being on the same page on the mission to fight insecurity and other matters of national concern.
The Brigade Commander, while responding, appreciated the Commissioner for paying him a visit.
The commander has also commended the good work he has commenced in the state and advised him to maintain the tempo.
The commander has pledged more support and cooperation to the Police and other security agencies to foster peace in the state.
Mr.Yusuf was followed by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman, Commanding Officers 42/78 PMF squadrons, CTU Base 18 Gusau, among others.
