Kwara govt approves installation of dedicated power transformer to fire service station
In a move to enhance service delivery, the Kwara State Government has directed the installation of a newly procured dedicated power transformer to the Kwara State Fire Service Station located at Wahab Folawiyo Road, Ilorin, with immediate effect.
The Commissioner for Energy, Engr. Abdul Azeez Kola AbdulGaniy, while giving the directive on Monday at the Ministry’s premises when receiving the newly procured transformer from the contractor, said, “This 100 KV power transformer is dedicated solely to the fire service office to create an enabling environment for its workers, leading to improved service delivery.”
The Director of Personnel Finance and Supply, Alhaji Hassan Taiye Afodun, commended the state governor of Kwara AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritising the welfare of its workers while assuring Kwarans awaiting similar gestures to remain patient, as the government is committed to listening to their concerns and addressing their needs.
Earlier, the Acting Director of Electrical Engineering, Engr. Fisayo Dada stated in his remarks that the transformer had been tested and certified for immediate installation.
