Many fans of Nasarawa United Football Club have expressed their disappointment over the recent performances of the team in the ongoing 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The football enthusiasts made their feelings known, on Monday, while speaking to newsmen in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.
Speaking on the development, Bamaiyi Anangba, a former Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development in the state, expressed dismay over the recent performances of the team and called for a detailed evaluation of the problem.
Nasarawa United currently sits in 12th position with 22 points on the NPFL log table after recording another dismal performance at home on Sunday against MFM FC of Lagos.
The game which ended 1-1 was the fourth in a row that Nasarawa United had failed to win, with the team losing to Rivers United 2-1 on Feb. 26, recording a 1-1 home draw with Kwara United on March 2 and a 2-0 away defeat to Kano Pillars FC on March 6.
