The representatives of Qatari investors have been scheduled to visit Manchester United on Thursday in view of the negotiations for the sale of the club.
They are expected to take a look at the stadium and training ground with their indicative bill pegged at about £4.5bn – a drop from the Glazers’ £6bn asking price.
Also, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the British billionaire who has also expressed interest to buy the club is set to visit Old Trafford on Friday
Ratcliffe will attend a presentation by senior management staff at Old Trafford the following day.
The club’s owners, the Glazer family, announced last November they were ready to explore options of sale of United.
They have consequently appointed American merchant bankers Raine to assist them assessing offers
