Lionel Messi and his family have reportedly touched down in Spain amid his rumoured move away from PSG.
The Argentine,his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their children left for Spain after PSG vs Angers game where Messi provided a superb assist for Mbappe.
As revealed by journalist Gerard Romero on his Twitch channel, the family reportedly landed midday on Saturday at Barcelona’s El Prat airport.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Messi was met by his lifelong bodyguard and advisor, Pepe Costa, who was in charge of waiting for him on his arrival in Barcelona.
The trip to Spain was inspired by the break in his professional commitments with PSG to return to his home in Castelldefels and enjoy a few days with his family.
The seven time Ballon D’or winner will not have to rejoin his team until next Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the visit to Barcelona could be significant for his future especially after the latest reports and rumours that he will return to the Catalan club next season after his contract expiration with PSG at the of the current season.
