The Lagos State Commissioner of Finance, Rabiu Olowo was on Saturday March 18, 2023 embarrassed by electorate for jumping the queue at his polling unit in Oko-baba, Lagos Mainland.

The Commissioner reached his polling unit situated at Oke-Odo Junior High School, Oko-baba, Oyingbo, to cast his vote.

He was received with joy by the youths who led him to go and jump the long queue for accreditation and voting.

The Commissioner who thanked them for the honour insisted that he would respect the queue but the youth disagreed with him, as they wanted him to jump the queue of voters.

A secondary school teacher identified simply as Akeem stood against the decision of the youth as he maintained that the normal protocol needed to be observed and followed.

Akeem protested against the action of the youth as he said the Commissioner must be on the queue and also have the feeling of standing under the scorching sun, while trying to vote.
