NDLEA arrests party agents with hundreds of credit cards in Ogun

Four party agents in the Ibara axis of Ogun state have been arrested by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

They were arrested with hundreds of credit cards planned for vote buying.

The spokesperson of the anti-drug agency, Femi Babafemi made this revelation in a statement released on Saturday.

The NDLEA did not reveal the identity of the political parties the suspects belong to and the reason behind their actions.

The Chairman of the NDLEA, Buba Marwa, has ordered that they should be sent to the police following proper documentation.

The statement reads: “Operatives of NDLEA on election duty stop and search, just intercepted four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, Ogun state.

“Each card contains 10k and is activated to cash with a code.”
