Kwara United dumps Ilorin, adopts Mobolaji Johnson Stadium as home ground for Confederation Cup
Kwara United have reportedly dumped the Kwara State Stadium Complex for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos as its home ground for CAF confederation cup engagements.
It would be recalled that Kwara United has been drawn against AS Douanes of Niger Republic in the first preliminary round of the CAF confederation cup.
It’s believed that the Lagos Stadium falls within reach of the management of the team as the main bowl of Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin is deemed below the standard required by CAF to host the match.
The first leg of the encounter is billed to hold between September 9-11 with the second leg scheduled for 16-18 of the same month.
