Kwara SWAN election to hold on Wednesday in Ilorin

Members of the Kwara State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN) will on Wednesday, April 22, 2027 will elect executive members of the association.

The election comes upon the expiration of the three-year-tenure of the current executives led by Ayodeji Ismail of Radio Kwara who is also seeking reelection for the chairmanship position.

In a statement by the signed, Rowland Olonishuwa the Secretary, to the electoral committee, the election is scheduled to hold at the Taiwo Awoniyi Sport Center, George Innih Stadium Complex Ilorin by 10am prompt.

As stipulated by the constitution of the association, various offices will be contested by interested candidates who after emergence will run the affairs of the body for the next three years.

The elecoral committee is chaired by Bunmi Adedoyin, a former chairman of the Kwara SWAN.
