The National Association of Nigerian Students, Kwara State Axis, has unveiled the maiden edition of the face of NANS KWARA at the AGF AbdulRasaq Entrepreneurship Hub, Sango area, in Ilorin.
At the press conference organized by the association, the social director, Comrade Omotosho Sofiu Femi said that the program is designed to help students uplift their social circle, develop their intellectual acumen, innate talents, and even entrepreneurship prowess.
Femi added that the program which is the first-ever socially-oriented program organised by NANS KWARA is aimed at serving the entirety of female Nigerian Students domiciled in Kwara state.
He stated that it would give the female students the opportunity to showcase their positive attributes, beauty splendour, and academic prowess.
The social director mentioned that the activity is structured in a way to explore the physical appearance of the contestants and also their individual cognitive ability.
He revealed that the program was scheduled to be in three stages; the audition stage, essay writing stage and the Grand finale which is the last stage.
Femi said, “The audition stage will only focus on the participants demonstration of skills and ability depending on the task allotted to them. As a result,their competence and suitability shall be assessed and graded using number of likes each contestant could secure on their respective Instagram pages within the given period of time.
“The second phase seeks to examine each contestant’s level of intellectual sharpness. As such, participants would be required to write a composition on a particular issue- a distinguishable part of the program which will have the number of the participants reduced to Twenty two with a minimum of two representatives from each institution.”
He insisted that participants stand a chance to win a considerable number of prizes ranging from cash prizes, face of the Association, 6 months wardrobe allowance, trip to an exotic location and a privilege of bagging the ambassadorial deal.

However, he noted that the registration starts on Wednesday,13th October 2021 and is expected to last for a period of two weeks.
