Kwara APC former council chairmen forum urges eligible voters to get PVC

Forum of the former APC council chairmen in Kwara State has called on eligible citizens and residents in the state to register for their permanent voters card(PVC).

In a statement signed by its acting secretary, Yinka Dallas on Thursday in Ilorin, the forum urged the residents to seize the oppurtunity of the third and final phase of nationwide Continuous Voter Registration which commenced on May 11 and runs through to July 10 and get their PVC.

The statement noted that voter’s card remains a veritable tool for citizen’s political experssion and democratic participation, hence the need for them to have it.

“PVC remains the major power of the citizens to elect leaders of their choice. It is important for our people to get their cards especially during this final phase of registeration ahead of the 2027 general election” the statement reads.

The forum further advised prospective registrants to also explore the website of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for registeration,

It also advised registered voters seeking transfers, replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards, or correction of personal details to use the INEC online portal or visit designated offices across the state.
