Kwara 2027: PDP guber candidate, Kawu to unveil manifesto November 12

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kwara State, Engr. Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu, is set to unveil his campaign manifesto, titled “My Covenant with Kwara,” on November 12, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The manifesto unveiling will take place at the Arca Santa Event Centre in Ilorin, the state capital, with proceedings scheduled to commence at 10:00 am.

The Director General of the Kwara PDP 2027 Campaign Organisation, Prince Omar Bolaji Gambari, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, November 3.

According to the statement, the event is expected to attract religious leaders, community and town associations, students, youth and women groups, labour leaders, artisans, marketers, transport operators, business owners, academics, professionals, media practitioners and other stakeholders across the state.

Gambari said the unveiling would provide Kawu with an opportunity to present his vision, policy priorities and proposed programmes for the development of Kwara State to a broad section of the electorate.

He described the manifesto as a covenant between the PDP governorship candidate and the people of Kwara, outlining his commitments and proposed direction for the state if elected governor in 2027.

The campaign organisation urged invited stakeholders and members of the public to attend the event, describing the manifesto unveiling as a significant step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general election.
