Ilorin West/Asa reps race: Mogaji Solihu engages APC ward chairmen, seeks grassroots backing

Honourable Mogaji Solihu, an aspirant for the Ilorin West/Asa Federal House of Representatives seat, has met with the 12 ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilorin West Local Government Area, as part of ongoing consultations ahead of the forthcoming political contest.

The meeting, held at the party’s local government secretariat, provided an opportunity for the aspirant to formally declare his intention to contest under the APC platform and engage key grassroots leaders on his ambition.

Addressing the ward chairmen, Mogaji Solihu outlined his commitment to delivering quality representation, promoting inclusive leadership, and advancing youth empowerment across Ilorin West/Asa Constituency. He stressed the importance of collective responsibility in driving development, pledging to remain accessible and responsive to constituents if elected.

In their separate remarks, the ward chairmen welcomed the aspirant and acknowledged his contributions to party growth and community development. They also commended his approach to stakeholder engagement, describing it as a strategic move in the build-up to the election season.
