The presidential flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has promised to improve infrastructure if the people of Nasarawa State vote for him in the 2023 presidential election.
The presidential candidate has also promised to employ the women and youth if he becomes president in 2023.
The presidential candidate made this remark in Lafia, the capital of the state.
The Informant247 gathers that the main opposition party is currently doing its presidential campaign rally in the State.
The former vice president said: “I want to thank the people of Nassarawa for this support. I want to reiterate our commitment to the employment of youths and women in Nigeria. This is why my administration will set aside $10b for this purpose.”
Atiku further revealed that he “will lift up Nasarawa’s infrastructure if voted into office.”
The Chairman of the party, Iyorcha Ayu said the presidential candidate of the party will be victorious in the North Central in the forthcoming general election.
Ayu implored those who defected from the party to come back to the party and join the winning team ahead of the forthcoming general election.
“Atiku will get his highest votes from northcentral. I expect Nasarawa to give Atiku 95 per cent of the votes.
“We started the journey in Nasarawa in 1998.
“I urge all those who have left the party to come back to the winning party, come join the winning train.
