They however express dissatisfaction at the work done and further requested for the breakdown details of the project.
“As part of our follow Kwara Money activities, we wrote freedom of information request to the federal ministry of environment that executed the Barakat community donate project falicitated by senator Bukola Saraki. So the federal ministry of environment replied us.”
“From the document released to us, they stated that 50million naira was budgeted for the project in the 2017 appropriation bill, and out of the 50million naira, only 35 million naira was released to the ministry to executive the project so from the 35 million naira released to the ministry, the ministry was able to execute the project and it was 95percent completed and the project was awarded to Marsh construction company in Abuja.”
“So after getting response from the ministry, we visited the project site to know whether the 35million naira commiserate the work done. The video recording that we did is the physical nature of the project and because we are just satisfied with the current status of the project in relation to the 35million naira that was released for the project, we have requested the ministry to give is the technical details of the project.” Related post
