Emir of Kano booed by NNPP supporters at inauguration ground

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano, on Monday at the Sani Abacha Stadium, the venue of the inauguration ceremony for the new governor booed by the supporters of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

It was gathered that immediately after the first-class monarch arrived at the venue, an angry crowd started shouting on top of their voices.

However, Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, younger brother of the Kano Emir was meted with the action by an angry crowd.

But security operatives quickly moved in and escorted the monarchs to their seats.
