The Lagos State police command have reacted to the news of the arrest of the popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus over the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of the popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke aka Davido and his fiancee, Chioma.
The police command has debunked the rumor of the arrest of the actress over the passing of the late Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The informant247 observes that there were speculations that Eniola was arrested in the early hours of Saturday.
It was widely claimed that the actress made a phone call through to Ifeanyi’s nanny to cause a distraction to her from having close watch over the boy.
However, the spokesperson of the police in the state, Benjamin Hundeyin informed newsmen that the actress was not apprehended.
“The story is false, nothing like that happened,” Hundeyin said.
The informant247 also observes that Badmus was one of the first popular friends of Davido who announced the death of the small boy in a cryptic message, before she later deleted it following widespread condemnation from social media users.
