The Nigerian government has said that the pre-arrival or post-arrival COVID testing is not longer necessary for those who travel in or out of the country, “irrespective of vaccination status”.
This was revealed in a letter produced by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which bears today’s date (December 12, 2022).
The letter has been addressed to airline service operators.
The letter reads: “COVID-19 Travel Testing: Pre-departure and Post-arrival COVID-19 PCR tests are no longer required for all passengers irrespective of vaccination status. PCR tests required for all passengers who are partially/not fully vaccinated have been suspended.”
The Informant247 learned that wearing off face masks was no longer required for travellers passing through air.
