BREAKING NEWS: Moshood Mustapha endorses Saliu Mustapha for senate

Frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former Kwara Central senatorial aspirant, Hon. Moshood Mustapha, has endorsed Senator Saliu Mustapha as the party’s candidate for the Kwara Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election.

Moshood Mustapha, popularly known as MM and the Wakili Ngeri of Ilorin, publicly declared his support for the incumbent senator while addressing supporters during his Maolud Nabiyy celebration at his private residence in GRA, Ilorin.

He described Saliu Mustapha’s emergence as the will of Almighty Allah and urged his political family to accept the party’s decision and work for the victory of the PDP in 2027.

I am wholeheartedly at peace with the decision of the party, and I declare my total support for the election of my brother, the Turaki of Ilorin.

“I urge all my supporters to accept the development as the will of Almighty Allah and work with me to deliver the PDP in the coming elections.

Also reacting, a public affairs analyst Mallam Sanusi Abdulfatah said the successful resolution of the PDP senatorial ticket is a pointer to the leadership acumen of Senator Bukola Saraki compared to the Kwara Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak who has increasingly been unable to resolve the crisis in the ruling party.

From the start do the primaries, to the election of candidates till date, Dr. Saraki has shown that he’s a world apart from Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazak in terms of readership quality and ability.

“The public is taking notes of this difference and they can tell who is a leader and who’s a dictator, he said.
