Bournemouth edge Liverpool as Salah loses penalty
Just six days from their historic 7-0 victory over Manchester United, Liverpool were on Saturday stunned by Bournemouth 1-0.
The lone goal from Phillip Billing was all the Cherries needed to beat Jurgen Kloop’s side.
And while Mohamed Salah had a chance to level up for the reds, the Egyptian yanked off the spot kick to leave them more frustrated.
It was another opportunity missed for Liverpool as they continue the quest to break into top four.
While the victory has pushed Bournemouth up to 17th on the log with 24 points, Liverpool are sitting 5th on the log with 42 points- Six points away from Spurs who held on to the fourth position.
