The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing in the suit filed by the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, until September 14.
The Informant247 learned that an appeal was on November 3, 2022, filed by Kanu at the Supreme Court challenging the judgement of the Court of Appeal’s ruling, stopping the Department of State Services, DSS.
It was gathered that the appellate court had, on October 28, 2023, stayed the execution of its earlier judgment acquitting Kanu of all charges and directing his release from the DSS headquarters.
