The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal on Saturday said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar would reopen Nigeria’s borders, if he becomes president in 2023.
The Governor made this revelation at the campaign rally of the party which took place in Illela Local Government Area of the state.
The Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council added that the presidential candidate has better plans for the nation.
He added; “These include reopening of the nation’s borders, addressing challenges of insecurity and the provision of basic necessities of life for Nigerians.
“However, in spite of challenges of insecurity, economic recess and the negative impact of COVID-19, we have executed several projects under healthcare, education, water supply and social interventions, among others,” he said.
Alhaji Yusuf Sulaiman, the DG, Sokoto Campaign Management Council, has urged the people to support continuity in the state government by voting PDP.
