Assassins have killed one worker of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kehinde Fatinoye.
Fatinoye was assassinated on Sunday, alongside his wife.
The Informant247 gathered that the wife of the CBN staff before her death was a Principal Confidential Secretary at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB.
Report has it that the suspected assassins invaded their home at Ibara GRA after they came back from the New Year crossover programme.
A source revealed that the suspected assassins set the couple on fire after taking their lives in their house.
The son and domestic staff of the deceased couple have been kidnapped by the assassins.
The spokesperson of the Ogun State police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, has confirmed the incident, saying, “It is true the incident happened. Investigation has commenced. Somebody has been arrested in connection with the incident. The man and his wife were killed and we are yet to find their child who was taken away.
“The incident happened after 12 in the morning. This is a clear case of assassination and we are not leaving any stone unturned to unravel those behind the killings.”
