In a heartwarming display of compassion and generosity, Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central, has made a significant contribution to support Abdulhayy Modibbo, a young boy diagnosed with Waardenburg Syndrome.

Senator Mustapha donated N1 million on Friday in response to a solicitation by the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) aimed at raising N10,500,000 for Abdulhayy’s medical needs, including a Cochlear implant and essential rehabilitation.

Abdulhayy, who was diagnosed with Waardenburg Syndrome at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), is now 4 years and 6 months old.

This developmental disorder has affected his hearing and overall health.

His parents sought medical assistance when he was just 2 years and 7 months old, leading to his diagnosis.

Saliu Shola Taofeek, the Chairman of ASKOMP, expressed gratitude to Senator Saliu Mustapha for his act of kindness in response to a letter of support from the association.

Senator Mustapha’s generosity sets a commendable example of how individuals in positions of influence can positively impact the lives of those in need.

The community is encouraged to join in this noble cause, ensuring that Abdulhayy Modibbo receives the necessary medical care for a brighter and healthier future.

Furthermore, Senator Saliu Mustapha demonstrated his commitment to philanthropy by also donating N1 million to Kayode Olokoba, who is battling kidney failure and requires a kidney transplant.
