The University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, has disowned the rumor that the institution has released a resumption date for returning students of the institution.
The management of the institution has disowned the rumor that October 20th, 2022, has been announced as the resumption date for returning students.
“This statement does not originate from the university management,” the school authorities said.
It has described the statement as an unauthentic news, saying “we are still expecting a categorical statement of strike call-off from ASUU before any decision of official resumption date could be arrived at.”
UNILORIN also dismissed another news that the institution has announced the sale of 2022/2023 Post-UTME Screening Form to applicants.
Kunle Akogun, the Director of Corporate Affairs of the university, while dismissing the rumor in a statement, in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, explained that institution was yet to take a decision.
“This is to inform all admission applicants to the University of Ilorin that the institution is yet to take any decision on the 2022/2023 Post-UTME screening.
“They should, therefore, disregard a message currently flying around online platforms to the effect that the University has started the process for the sale of Post-UTME screening registration forms.
“This is the handiwork of scammers and admission seekers should disregard it,” the statement added.
