The former Brighton and Hove Albion believes that the Serie A Giant will not be giving in easily to the game as they would be hoping to impress their fans in the stand.
It would be recalled that Chelsea defeated AC Milan in the first leg of the encounter last Wednesday 3-0 to give the Potter’s era a befitting Champions league opener.
“I won’t tell you about how we’re going to line up, you can wait for that. But we’re happy with the options that we have. We’re expecting a really tough game because AC Milan have a lot of great players and are a really tough team.” He said.
According to Potter, he also hopes that the Italian team will seek to leverage on the fact that they’re playing in their home ground even
as they also approach the Tuesday’s game following the big home win against Juventus at the weekend. Milan need to replicate that domestic form against Chelsea.
“That’s our challenge and it’s what we have to try to do. It’s an incredible place here and a very different game. AC Milan will try to use the home advantage like we did. Two good teams, two evenly matched teams. I’m looking forward to it.” He concluded
