The traditional leaders of Ilorin and Asa Local Government areas have formally endorsed the candidate for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mallam Muktar Shagaya.
The traditional chieftains described Shagaya as the most qualified of all the candidates.
They gave kudos to the party, especially the governors for giving room for power rotation — and for promoting development and unity in the state.
The council of Magajis/Alanguas/Daudus in both Ilorin West and Asa commended Shagaya for his interest in the advancement of good governance, democracy, and economic prosperity.
He, however, promised the leaders sound representation, adequate security of lives and property, better welfare, employment and empowerment.
He encouraged the chieftains to get their voter’s cards and cast their votes in Saturday’s election to achieve the positive results they hoped for, in the state and the country.
The meeting acknowledged the success already achieved by the family of Shagaya, which distinguished him from other contestants in the political race.
The meeting welcomed Shagaya as the best candidate considering his level of capacity, competence, character and humanity.
The interactive session appreciated the Governor of the state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his success and accomplishments so far and more so, his demonstration of patriotism and integrity.
The traditional chieftains persuaded the people of the country to cast their votes for the ruling APC, February 25, 2023, to achieve the great plans which the party intends to actualize for the people.
