Toyin Abraham, a popular Nollywood actress, has spoken about her final moments with Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the woman who created the famous Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA Awards).
Her colleague, Obi Emelonye confirmed her death, saying, “Thank you and good night dada Peace.”
The late, legendary producer, who was also the head of the AMP, has officially passed away, and his family has issued a statement confirming his passing.
Toyin Abraham, devastated by her loss, took her Instagram handle to reveal their final social media conversation, in which the deceased had pledged to see and applaud Abraham’s most recent film, “Ijakumo.”
Peace Anyiam-Osigwe mentioned in the conversation that she has been paying for her students to see Toyin’s film.
In the homage, Toyin pledged to stay focused and keep up her own competition.
She wrote: “Goodnight ma’am @digitalpmoglobal you chatted me on Thursday just to encourage me and told me you will pop champagne for me, you told me I’m so hardworking and focused. I know heaven gained an angel. Thank you so much ma’am and I promise to always be focus and continue to be my own competition goodnight mama”
