The account of a Nigerian man, Young C, who embarked on a 24-hour challenge of being buried alive, has been banned by TikTok, a short video platform.
A check by our reporter showed Young C’s profile @youngcentertainment was no longer available.
Meanwhile, further check showed that a new account was created temporarily by him. In the video released, Young C was seen pleading with his supporters to follow his new account @youngcentertainment2
According to him, “Hello guys, thank you for your support; I’m finally out after 24 hours of being buried alive. I just noticed they just brought down my previous TikTok account, and I just created a new one, which I’m making the video @youngcentertainment2. You guys should follow up ASAP and get up to 1k so that I can do a live video and update you. Please, stay safe out there and don’t try what I did at home.”
Young C caused a stir online on Wednesday when he embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours, bearing a resemblance to a similar challenge undertaken by American YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), who spent 50 hours buried alive two years ago to raise awareness about deforestation.
However, in a recent time, MrBeast attempted to surpass his record by spending seven consecutive days buried in a coffin, overcoming physical and mental challenges before being exhumed.
